Today the guys poured the slab under our house which will be the floor for our new kitchenette office and downstairs bath. In a month or so the flooring guy will cover it with oak which should look great. The rest of the downstairs floor will be over a crawl space and the lumber is on site so we should see that completed in the next few days. The brick masons were also back on site and completed the foundation of the car shelter. I assume in the next few days they will be able to pour the deck of the car shelter. The decking will close in an unconditioned storage space under the car shelter. We will use this space for our outdoor tools like rakes wheelbarrows and shovels. It will come in handy since we used to store all of this where we are putting new living space. Two and a half weeks into the job and things are starting to take shape. Still a long way to go, but a good amount of progress has been made.
